Comments: Adding VoIP to the 2710n, the 2710Vn takes the old 2700VG to new levels adding 802.11n wireless instead of 802.11g and a USB port for USB printers & *some 3G modems.

Note: The FXO port for some reason is linked to the second FXS port rather than the first as might be expected. This means for PSTN failover to work during a power outage, the telephone handset must be plugged into the second FXS port.

a good modem router , but has issue with port 1 voip as it is software switched and has echo and cid problems.
The main issue is that this modem was and is being sold as having lifeline fallback to pstn , but this only applies to port 2 , as port 1 does not support fallback at all

Awesome speed- our Internode connection went from around 13,000 down/600up (annex A, Billion 7400) to 15,900 down/1,600up (annex M)
