Lots of reports of dropouts and poor performance with this one so I can't recommend it.

I have been experiencing dropouts from this router which are only fixed by restarting the router. Frustrating.

Even with the new firmware MBR624GU Version 6.01.30.61 which netgear claims works with 312u for Bigpond. It still doesnt work. Dont buy it no matter what.

Initial setup doc inadequate, had to get APN No. from dodo to start. Drops out several times a day, and have to manually reboot to get it going. Avoid!

Product is let down by Netgears failure to update firmware. On their support site they state "known issue".. have to unplug usb modem regularly as it hangs. Poor!

Generally works well, but router sometimes loses connection to modem and takes a while to find it again unless you unplug and replug modem in.

List of supported modems now updated for Australia. Using e220 modem. Router, on several occasions, does not find this modem when starting.
