Comments: Same as the DI-724P+ but with the addition of a com port for a dial-up modem for fail-over, and built-in IPSec* VPN endpoints for up to 40 VPN tunnels. Also has print server ports for both parallel and USB Printers.

*The VPN feature is IPSec based and is somewhat complicated to setup, requiring an Internet Connection with a Static IP address (at least on the Server end) and a minimum of Windows 2000 behind it to allow for the setup of the necessary security policy.

Note: As of mid 2008 D-Link are in the process dropping the "+" from the product name (was DI-824VUP+) but there are no differences in performance or features.
