Comments: Billion's BigGuard S Series feature SSL VPN capability which according to this definition from searchsecurity.com means the VPN connection can be achieved with no specialised VPN client software. Just a standard browser.

The BiGuard S series starts with the S5 which allows access for up to 20 users but only 5 concurrently.
The S10 is recommended for organisations with up to 50 employees providing access for up to 20 employees, 10 concurrently.
The S20 steps it up to cater to organisations with up to 200 employees, with a maximum of 20 concurrent SSL connections. The S20 also includes dual WAN capabilty for load sharing or failover of two broadband connections, 8 LAN ports and a Gigabit port. All have 1 LAN port which can be configured as a hardware DMZ.

Click here to test drive the configuration menus (S10 model shown).

The S20 device after reset to factory defaults took a total of 1.75 hours to reconfigure using the manual you supplied. I have established IPSec VPN tunnels with Snapgear, Netgear and D-Link routers with absolutely no issues. Simply run the default settings using the quick configuration tool and bang – connected. Telstra Cable Extreme Download Throughput from Microsoft Downloads comes through @ 1.78Mbytes p/s (or 18.6Mbits).
The Netgear FVS318 V1 was only ever able to achieve 860KB throughput from MS Download (this is cached on Telstra).
I have 7 Applications and 3 VPNs running and all I can tell you the speed is lightening fast. Not one application failed on deployment (unlike the Cisco 3020 I trialled last week which had major issues with eware.dll).
Network Extender works a treat as does Transport Extender (which is what majority of the users will be using).
Remote Desktop function and Network Places Client works very well – experience with RDP is equal to local LAN access.
So in short, Thank you for switching me on to the S20 – I believe these little buggers have got a very fine future ahead of them.
