Comments: A little travel router with support for USB 3G modems* as well as an ethernet WAN port for a Cable or ADSL modem. No LAN ports on this one so the only way a PC can connect to it is via the wireless link. (Correction: As Peter pointed out in the comments below, the WAN port can be configured to be a LAN port if desired)
The standout feature is its size (103mm x 76mm x 22mm) making it small enough to stash in the luggage while travelling, and that it can run on its built-in battery power for 2-5 hours which could be useful on buses and trains (or for grouchy teens in the back seat) when you need Internet to more than one PC. I wouldn't expect the wireless range to be huge but it should be a vast improvement over some of the similar bluetooth 3G routers getting around. Also, be aware the wireless standard utilised is "Wireless 150" which promises half the usual speeds of standard 802.11n (ie 150 mbps)

A new Firmware version has been released and it now supports the Optus Huawei E1762.

Does not work with Optus Huawei E1762 with firmware version 11.126.xx. Netcomm said a new firmware version that would support it was being developed. That was nearly 6 months ago. They also changes the compatibility list after I complained to reflect that it did not support this firmware version on the modem.

Reading the userguide (http://www.netcomm.com.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0006/33387/3GT1WN-User-Guide.pdf) for this product reveals on Page 17 that the ethernet port is WAN by default but can be configured as a LAN port
