I lucked out with all of our D-Link suppliers Patricko. That's all of the major D-Link suppliers in Oz so I'd say you've got almost no chance of finding any unless there's a little bricks & mortar shop somewhere in the backwoods with a couple still on the shelf. I'd be looking for something else to do the trick I think. ;)

Any retailers out there with any of these old DUB-E100s still in stock please feel welcome to post up here.

Hi Ozcableguy,

Just wondering how your search went as I'm now in the same shoes. If you had any luck it'd be greatly appreciated if you let me know where I can find one of the mysterious old adapters.

Cheers,
Patricko

Have purchased a D-Link powerline AV starter kit and D-Link Powerline AV wireless N Extender. I have a house with 4 separate (?) power circuits (all separate on the power board). However these power line devices work brilliantly on all circuits. There was a comment on one of the forums that suggested that the signal is transmitted via the neutral cable and that multicircuit houses probably have a common neutral. However I note that the wireless extender doesn't have an earth pin and still works very well (FYI).
Anyway - the system is well worth the money.

Hi, for interest my 2850Vn allows me to put a single "?" in the prefix and the 07 in the OP Number, that will cover all local 8 digit dialouts. Cheers

Hi Rudi,

According to Matt from MPA (a Cyberoam distributor) above, the Sierra 320U should work on the CR series. For any other dongles or Cyberoam models you'll need to contact Cyberoam support to check. See http://www.cyberoam.com/presalessupport/

My understanding is that those who have problems with PLC should check the connections in the line example, the socket. Old or poor quality sockets cause poor connections which causes a lot of problems in speed, so the more connections in the line the better chance of poor speed things like power boards etc are not good for PLC (Power Line Communication).

Hi Adam,

Short answer - no.
I have heard of routers that can place a call via mobilenet but they tend to be extremely rare and rather pricey (sorry I can't recall the names of any such routers off the top of my head).
However, there are dual mode mobile phones that can connect either via wifi or mobilenet. These phones could connect to the Fritz or other wifi connections to make VoIP calls, or to mobilenet when no wifi connection is available. I imagine most smart phones could do this too.
